Spot Cleaning & Stain Removal Spot & stain removal is the most difficult step in carpet maintenance and is considered a science. As a general rule, immediate attention to a spot or stain should minimise the chance of permanent damage.

Dry Stains: Gently remove as much dry debris as possible using a soft hand brush and spatula. Vacuum thoroughly to remove the remaining loose particles. Do not use liquids.

Wet Stains: Use a spatula to remove the excess, blot using an absorbent cloth to soak up as much of the stain as possible. Once the bulk of the spill is removed follow one of the procedures in the table below. When in doubt contact a professional carpet cleaning company

Installation Instructions Measuring

Measuring the length (L) and width (W) of the area to cover. For areas that are not rectangular, break up the area into smaller rectangles. You will also need to get the diagonals of the area to make sure the mat is square.

Preparation

Remove any old floor coverings, debris, and adhesives from the floor Clean the entire floor surface of any dust, drywall mud, etc. Make sure the sub-base is smooth and even.

Lay out

Mark out the measurements of the mat well onto your mat and cut with either a hack saw, aluminium blade on a jig saw or a drop saw with an aluminium blade.
